Game Rules

🎯

Objective

Be the first to get rid of all your cards. The last player holding cards at the end of the game loses and is called the Durak (Fool). All other players who emptied their hand split the pot — the winner is the player who went out first.

🃏

Setup

Deck
36 cards (6 through Ace)
Players
2 – 6 players
Starting hand
6 cards per player
Trump
Bottom card of the deck, suit revealed

The bottom card of the remaining deck is placed face-up to determine the trump suit. Trump cards beat any non-trump card, regardless of rank. The deck is then placed on top of it (face-down) so the trump card is still visible underneath.

Ace is the highest card. Within the trump suit, all cards outrank any non-trump card — even a trump 6 beats an Ace of a different suit.

⚔️

Attacking

The attacker plays one or more cards of the same rank face-up on the table. On subsequent attacks within the same round, you may only play cards whose rank is already on the table (either in attack or defense). The maximum number of attack cards in a round equals the defender's hand size, capped at 6.

🛡️

Defending

The defender must cover each attack card individually. A card is beaten by:

A higher card of the same suit — e.g. Q♥ beats J♥.

Any trump card — if the attack card is not trump. Even the lowest trump beats any non-trump.

If the defender cannot or chooses not to beat all cards, they must pick up the entire table — attack cards, defense cards, everything. Their turn to attack is skipped.

↪️

Transfer (Podkidnoy)

Special move

Instead of defending, if only one rank is on the table and the next player has enough cards to receive, the defender may play a card of the same rank to transfer the attack to the next player in line. The new defender then faces all the cards accumulated on the table and must beat them all — or pick them up.

🎴

Drawing Cards

After each round, players refill their hands to 6 cards from the deck — attacker first, then co-attackers, then the defender (only if they successfully defended). Once the deck is empty, no drawing occurs. Players who empty their hand when the deck is gone are out safely. The round continues until only one player remains with cards — they are the Durak.

⏱️

Turn Timer & AFK

Each player has 30 seconds to make a move. A countdown timer is shown on screen. If time runs out, the game auto-plays the best available move (or forces a card pick-up for the defender). After 3 consecutive timeouts you are removed from the game and forfeit your stake.
